Since opening our doors in 1990, the Little Tug Boat has gained a reputation for providing outstanding care for children in Fulham.
Owned by husband and wife, Amy and Adam, and with the expertise, dedication and love of our wonderful long standing Crew, we strive to give every child the best start in their early years. We developed our Learn Well mission because simply put, we want to leave things better than we found them; to do good and be good. At the Little Tug Boat, our wonderful team, led by Manager Cindy, combine the very best in early years learning with an environment which supports the health and well-being of every child.
I have been working in education since 2001 and have a Degree in Early Years. I have been part of the Tug Boat family since 2005, starting out as a teacher in the rooms and eventually having the privilege of managing and leading the Crew in our beautiful Nursery.
As a mother of two, I know how special the Early Years are and how important it is that every child is given the best opportunity to play, learn and grow in a warm and supportive environment. I strongly believe in valuing each child and encouraging them to believe in themselves. We strive to support the children to become confident and independent individuals who have a passion for exploring and learning through fun and engaging activities. Thanks to the small groups in each room and the excellent crew we have at Tug Boat, I feel that we are able to achieve this and to make every family feel welcomed and supported.

Hello. I have been working with children for 16 years and I truly couldn’t imagine doing anything else! In that time I have gained experience across all ages as well as with children with additional needs. After relocating from Sussex, I was lucky enough to join the Crew at Tug Boat.
It is so important to me that children are given the opportunities to reach their potential and grow into confident, happy little learners. At Tug Boat we not only support children in their learning but go above and beyond to ensure children in our care leave us with vital life skills and experiences. The small, family feel makes Tug Boat very special as well as our exceptional team who provide fun, exciting learning opportunities that engage and challenge the children.
We are passionate about providing a caring, nurturing environment for children and working closely with families to ensure they feel supported and valued.
